Donovan’s Irish Pub is more than your local pub. Our locals refer to us as the Irish “Cheers” and our visitors say “It feels like home”. We are located next to the prestigious Palencia Golf Course, because nothing says Irish like a great game of golf. Our menu was created from Grandma Tess’s recipe book and is always prepared with her “Irish Love.” Stop on by for our traditional Irish cuisine or nice cold pint of Guinness. Meet the Chef
Matthew Jacoby is the Executive Chef at Donovan’s Irish Pub in St. Augustine, FL. Matt has been with Donovan’s for five years and is responsible for presenting True Irish dishes as well as other special entrée offerings to our customers.
Matt graduated with honors from First Coast Technical College in St. Augustine after earning a scholarship to their program. Growing up in Miami, Florida, Matt had first experiences working with fresh seafood of all kinds and displays these skills and more at Donovan’s, presenting guests with quality, fairly priced, consistent comfort food.
Matt has been a professional chef for over 15 years.
