St. Augustine Greek Festival

Celebrate all things Greek - food, dancing, music and heritage - at this annual festival celebrating St. Augustine’s Greek heritage. Enjoy homemade Greek foods and pastries, shop at the outdoor market and enjoy the carnival games and rides. There will be plenty of Hellenic music and performances by Greek dance troupes from throughout Florida. The festival takes place at Francis Field on Friday 4-10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. Admission is $5 adults, and free for youth under age 14 accompanied by an adult. A Taste of the Beach

Annual ‘taste-fest’ with the crowd and judges selecting the coveted “Best of the Beach” restaurant. Admission is free and taste tickets sell for $1 each. 30 area restaurants compete for top honors in this tasty fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County.  Tastes are $1 each and winners will be selected in New England, Minorcan, conch and/or seafood categories. SAiRA Restaurant Week

St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association (SAiRA) is hosting a celebration of the local dining experience. Foodies can take a tour of local cuisine from more than 12 independently owned SAiRA member restaurants located throughout St. Augustine. Chefs from each restaurant will prepare special lunch and dinner menu experiences for participants. Dinners are $35, and lunches are $20. Participants can pick up a Restaurant Week Passport at any SAiRA member restaurant. High Tea at Cafe Alcazar

Immerse yourself with the full experience of the Dressing Downton exhibition with a special tea in the Cafe Alcazar located in the historic pool area of the Lightner Museum. The high teas will include sweet and savory items reminiscent of Gilded Age high style. Teas will be at 3 and 4 p.m. Sun-Thurs and 2 p.m. Fri-Sat. Tickets are required and can be purchased online. Datil Pepper Festival

Celebrate St. Johns County’s official plant, the Datil Pepper, at this festival that takes place at the St. Johns County Agricultural Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sat and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sun. Admission and parking are free. The event features vendors, a plant sale, an amateur Datil Pepper hotsauce contest and a Datil Pepper restaurant cook off. St. Augustine Food & Wine Festival

Hosted by the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association, this festival takes place at the River House from noon-4 p.m. Enjoy culinary specialties from local restaurants and a beer garden as well as sample more than 100 wines.
